Q: What is a "Nun Run?" A: It is a faith filled discernment weekend open to females in High School (Jr. & Sr.) and College.
Q: What we will be doing? A: we will spend the weekend in quiet prayer, small group discussions, Mass, and visiting various religious communities including: the Daughters of Charity, the Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus, The Sisters of the Incarnate Word, the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters aka the "pink sisters" and more! Q: Where will we be staying? A: We will be staying at Daughters of Charity House in STL Q: What if I don't want to be a Nun? A: It's important to know your options, events like this help us discern whatever path God is calling us to, even marriage. Q: How will we get there and back? A: Female adults chaperones will drive participants from our offices/thrift store on Friday at 4:00 PM and will return them to our offices/thrift store on Sunday at approximately 4:00 PM Q: What do I need to bring? A: snacks to share, air mattress, blanket, pillow, toiletries, PJS/lounge wear, 3 outfits for daytime wear (dress code: modest-casual) Q: When's the last day I can sign up? A: We need a final head count 1 week before. |
