Service on Saturday (S.O.S.) is a quarterly event where VMY SEMO helps individuals and families in need throughout our Southeast Missouri community.
Our Winter S.O.S. is scheduled for December 20th from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. We will leave the Perryville youth group parking lot (DePaul Parking lot) at 7:15 am and commute via bus to the city, where we will be helping our sister organization St. Vincent de Paul. There, we assist families in need to "shop" for their Christmas dinner via their food pantry. We will leave the city at approximately 2:30 pm and return back to Perryville. This event is open to students in 8th-12th grade and young adults. Adult volunteers will also be needed. This event 1-day event is free to attend, but we do ask that you bring a water bottle and dress weather accordingly/warm. Lunch will also be provided.
